System Requirements

The X-modem is compatible with any computing device that has an Ethernet connection and has TCP-IP Networking capabilities. A computer with a web browser is required for initial set-up.

Live IP Compatibility

The X-Modem can be used with any ethernet equipped device, however not all broadband routers are able to cope with only having a single IP address.

Listed here is a Live IP compatibility list showing equipment we have tested. Where possible we are endeavoring to get the broadband router manufacturers to update their firmware to make their routers compatible with the X-Modem Live IP technology. Devices listed as Gateway mode compatible, can still be used with the X-Modem in gateway mode, however this results in the router being issued a private IP address not the public address.
